Human. Therapist.

Human. Therapist.

Hi, I’m Naethra Sreekrishna. Before I am a therapist, I am a person shaped by many identities — a cis/het woman of color, a child of South Indian immigrants, a mother, a partner, an auntie, a reader, an aspirational artist, and an abolitionist. I’m Southwestern born, Midwestern raised, and New Yorker by experience. These parts of me are not separate from my clinical work; they inform how I listen, how I understand power and systems, and how I show up in relationship.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice who primarily works with clients navigating intersectional identities — People of the Global Majority, Queer and Trans folks, and Neurodiverse individuals. Whether I’m working with couples or individuals, I approach therapy through a relational lens. Together, we explore the patterns shaped by family, culture, and systems — and how they show up in intimacy, conflict, and connection. My work is grounded in the belief that we are not broken; many of the struggles we face are adaptations to environments that were never designed to support us.

Curated Resources

The only thing I love more than consuming various books, articles, podcasts, websites, etc. is sharing them! Hence, the creation of this site as place to organize and share resources I've found helpful as a human and a therapist. My hope is to share my "notes" on new resources about 4 to 6 times in a year.

Practice Updates

Being a human, therapist, and business owner, this is also an avenue to share occasional updates about my private practice - such as offerings and availability - with anyone who opts in to receiving my "notes." No pressure. And no impact on current or previous care.
